<p><font face="Times New Roman">Is there a reason poppler is setup
to disallow in-place updating? This essentially makes </font><tt>port
upgrade outdated</tt><font face="Times New Roman"> require
manual intervention when a rev-bump of poppler comes by. The end
of the build log indicates that this is an intentional prebuild
check:</font></p>
