 Do you have texlive-xetex installed? (and texlive-omega and texlive-
 metapost)

 Either way, this is surprising: if you have it installed, then xetex
 should exist (and you shouldn't be getting a "command not found" error).
 If you don't, then the xetex fmtutil lines shouldn't be installed, and you
 shouldn't be trying to generate the xetex and xelatex formats.
