#54527: avr-gcc 1.7.0 update fails and install after uninstall fails

 I tried to perform the following:

 sudo port selfupdate
 sudo port upgrade outdated

 avr-gcc 1.7.0 was one of the items to be updated.  If failed.  So I
 uninstall avr-gcc and then tried to install install it.  It still failed.
 I uninstalled all avr tools and tried to reinstall the tools using the
 command :
 sudo port install avr-gcc

 Here is the transcript from the last command:
