 Back on line... It seems your suggestion was the right one (port uninstall
 scamp, port uninstall sextractor [both depend on atlas], port uninstall
 atlas, port uninstall gcc49; then port install atlas +gcc5, port install
 sextractor, port install scamp. Thank you very much, I have learnt a few
 things in the process.
 [Should I prefer trac tickets or the macports-users email-list in the
 future?]
