I believe the page [https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_for_Python/GettingStarted you
refer] to is **only** about PySide2, which is already in the
[https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/tree/master/python/py-pyside2
MacPorts repository] and has subports for Python 3.6 and 3.7.
The subports of [https://github.com/macports/macports-
ports/tree/master/aqua/qt5 qt5] still seem to require Python 2.7 for some
reason or another.\\
See, for example, the
[http://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtwebengine.git/tree/configure.json#n629
configure file for qtwebengine].
It would be very nice if we could get rid of Python 2 dependencies, but I
believe we have to wait for upstream changes for this to be feasible for
Qt.\\
I will close this ticket for now, but please feel free to reopen if I have
missed something.
