New description:

 I tried to install wine because I want to run Windows applications on my
 Mac (could not find a Mac alternative for this application). \\
 I ran this command: `$ sudo port install wine`
 I got this error:

 because it only supports the arch(s) 'i386'
 Error: Follow https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets to report a bug.
 Error: Processing of port wine failed

 I tried to clean it first and then tried installing again, but that didn't
 work.

 Which operating system version? At this time, the wine ports cannot be
 installed on macOS 10.14 Mojave or later.
