 I just updated the script, which is significantly modified to work more
 robustly. It not plays nicely with various SED on 10.4, 10.5, and 10.12.
 Still needs testing on the other MacOSX / OSX. Works on macOS 11 but
 doesn't get the MAJOR.MINOR correct yet (though that doesn't matter since
 the header doesn't need patching).
