#62578: py-scipy/py-numpy: opportunistic linking to py-mkl breaks both of these
ports

Component: ports | Version: 2.7.1
Resolution: | Keywords: rpath
Port: py-scipy py-numpy |

Comment (by reneeotten):
Christopher, I cannot get {{{py-numpy}}} linked with {{{py-mkl}}} even if
I try ;) I just install {{{py39-mkl}}} followed by {{{py39-mkl}}} and see
nothing:
{{{
% otool -L `port contents py39-numpy | grep "\.so"` | grep mkl
}}}
can you please confirm that you *only* see this because you mucked around
with {{{install_name}}} to remove the {{{rpath}}} business in
{{{py39-mkl}}}? I do agree that this should be fixed (and I was always
assuming that I actually used the MKL libraries.....} and I'm on track of
trying to do so, but would like to understand why you're having this
problem in the first place.
