 For what reason is it considered a broken port?

 FWIW: the rev-upgrade errors above above referring to libraries in their
 build locations concern the mod_pipe.so plugin only. This module is loaded
 dynamically by Audacity, and if I'm not mistaken the system won't try to
 load the libraries from the missing build locations if they have already
 been loaded into memory. That would explain why `port rev-upgrade`
 complains about the port while it runs just fine.
