before attempting the build (or `port select --set llvm` to anything but
`none` for that matter). So I am running Apple `clang` 14.0.3, with
`--version` producing the same as quoted above and `xcodebuild -version`
producing:
`port select --set clang mp-clang-15` does not affect which compiler
MacPorts uses to build ports. The port select mechanism is solely for your
convenience as user.

Interesting. I have the same clang version, but Xcode version says
{{{
Xcode 14.3
Build version 14E222b
}}}
and I get broken versions. It is possible that the build version of Xcode
makes the difference here?
