 The issue is that `src/meson.build` in the spike-gtk source tree passes
 `-export-symbols spice_client_glib_syms_path` to the linker, but the macOS
 linker does not seem to accept that option. There is an option in the
 manpage called `-exported-symbols-list` that accepts a filename and might
 work instead.
