New description:

 There is a compiler error while building the port.

 I first tried ipe +qt4 -qt5, which proceeds to compiling without the Xcode
 installed. Still, the build fails. Then I installed Xcode–no luck as well.

 +qt5 requires Xcode, unlike +qt4. It also fails to build.
