 You should already be able to install the port. In the absence of
 binaries, MacPorts will build it from source.

 There are no binaries of any port for arm64 for macOS Sonoma yet. I do not
 yet have a machine that I can use to set up as a macOS Sonoma arm64 build
 machine.
