 Lukas, my thoughts regarding updating the version of the git2 crate may be
 off in left field, given the following:

 > The source for libgit2 is included in the libgit2-sys crate so there's
 no need to pre-install the libgit2 library, the libgit2-sys crate will
 figure that and/or build that for you.

 Given that - combined with the fact that we haven't changed the `rav1e`
 port - we should be fine as-is.

 Can you try a clean build of `rav1e`, without any prior history/log, to
 ensure the same results occur?
