 On x86_64, I'd welcome feedback for https://github.com/neverpanic
 /macports-base/commits/cal-tracemode-optimizations. I'm assuming those
 work, since they do for me.

 On arm64, it seems one cannot enable the arm64e preview ABI without
 disabling system integrity protection, which is unfortunate. If somebody
 wants to test the branch above with that change, that would be helpful.
