 This port has no MacPorts maintainer so there is no expert on this
 software here. You may have to ask the developers of this software for
 assistance with the problems you encountered. However, the project's web
 site no longer exists, and the software was last updated there in 2006, so
 the developers may no longer be available either, unless the project has
 moved somewhere else. You may want to find an alternative to slocate. I am
 not familiar with the software so this suggestion may not fully meet your
 needs, but the `locate` command that's preinstalled on macOS might be one
 possibility.
