 I believe this can now be closed since the rust Portfile now indicates
 lack of PowerPC support via  `supported_archs `
 (https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/blob/342989ea6af61cc58d6b5a799367a447debad55a/lang/rust/Portfile#L47).
