X11 and grads do not work after upgrading to Sonoma

Hi,

/usr/local and /usr/X11 are not locations macports will install anything into, so you are not using a macports provided build of grads. 

You should remove everything from these locations, and then install instead macports grads port. Also, in order to have a X11 server you should install macports xorg-server port.
