kdelibs4, Ticket #68452, help?

 OS 11.7.10 (Big Sur)
I’m looking for advice. I’m trying to keep my ports current, which the problem with kdelibs4 makes difficult. I’ve been manually upgrading ports (cut & paste upgrade outdated).

I saw the post about disabling soprano, tried to do what I thought that meant, but running port upgrade kkdelibs4 caused soprano to be reinstalled. kdelibs4 did not upgrade. I’m not a programmer, just someone who appreciates what MacPorts provides.

Another wrinkle is that on my desktop machine, kde4-runtime has apparently updated, while on this old MacBook Air lists it as outdated. Both machines are running the same OS.

Help much appreciated.
