From jmr at macports.org Mon Jun 4 04:48:16 2018 From: jmr at macports.org (Joshua Root) Date: Mon, 4 Jun 2018 14:48:16 +1000 Subject: [MacPorts-announce] MacPorts 2.5.1 has been released Message-ID: The MacPorts Project is pleased to announce the release of version 2.5.1. This is a bugfix release with small changes only. See the ChangeLog [1] for the list of changes. If you already have MacPorts installed, the preferred method for updating is to run: sudo port selfupdate For new installs, there are also package installers available for macOS versions ranging from 10.13 all the way back to 10.4 (10.6 is universal i386/x86_64; 10.5 and 10.4 are i386/ppc, the rest are x86_64) at [2]. The source is also available as tarballs compressed with gzip or bzip2, or from the git tag [3]. Detached PGP signatures for the disk images, packages and source tarballs have been made with my key, which is available on the keyservers and my MacPorts wiki page [4], the fingerprint being: 0x01FF673FB4AAE6CD: C403 7936 5723 6DCF 2E58 0C02 01FF 673F B4AA E6CD Josh (on behalf of the MacPorts Port Managers) [1] [2] [3] [4] From jmr at macports.org Tue Jun 5 01:48:28 2018 From: jmr at macports.org (Joshua Root) Date: Tue, 5 Jun 2018 11:48:28 +1000 Subject: [MacPorts-announce] MacPorts 2.5.2 has been released In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: <9f545356-ce06-bf2e-486c-78a3835b1e04@macports.org> Hot on the heels of 2.5.1, MacPorts 2.5.2 has been released to fix an issue affecting ports building with a macports-clang compiler. Please upgrade as soon as possible. (Note that it may be a little while before the rsync mirrors have the new version.)
