+Seems like the issue is that the port is not finding the libiconv header from MacPorts, and instead uses the one in /usr, so it believes iconv_ is the prefix to use.  The fixes which work so far are to use {{{--with-libiconv-prefix=${prefix}}}} in configure.args when available, otherwise some other trick (eg, {{{-I${prefix}/include}}} for CPPFLAGS) to make sure the header is found at the right time.
