Log Message:
-----------
Initial checkin of 'octave-devel' port, octave version 3.3.52. There
are still bugs in this version that are in the process of being fixed
upstream, but the basic Portfile should work properly.

Added Paths:
-----------
    trunk/dports/math/octave-devel/
    trunk/dports/math/octave-devel/Portfile

Added: trunk/dports/math/octave-devel/Portfile

+description         a Matlab-like environment for numerical analysis
+long_description Octave provides a convenient command line interface \
+ for solving linear and nonlinear problems numerically, \
+ using a language that is mostly compatible with Matlab. \
+ It is easily extensible and customizable via \
+ user-defined functions or using dynamically loaded \
+                    modules written in e.g. C++, C or Fortran.
