New port not commited

Hello developer list,
Almost 2 weeks ago, I submitted a new port (XMLStarlet, ticket #10838  
<http://trac.macports.org/projects/macports/ticket/10838>)
It's quite frustrating to see nobody cared to commit it :-(
Moreover, I asked on october 7th on this same mailing list what  
should be the procedure to submit new port but nobody replied, also  
quite frustrating :-(
I understand MacPorts is in a transition period but I hope this is  
going to stabilize and that new ports are going to be commited.
