Where is the registry?

Currently ${prefix}/var/macports/receipts/ (really ${portdbpath}/
receipts)
It contains:
file_map.db
dep_map.bz2
A receipt.bz2 for every port that's installed
The file_map represents active files and is consulted for `port
provides` or for what to uninstall/deactivate
The dep_map is consulted when you try to uninstall/deactivate
something and it's a dependency of an installed port
The receipt.bz2 is consulted for general informations about a port,
as well as for what to install/activate
