Yes, that request was filed a long time ago, and I have a mostly- 
working pre-commit hook written, but it had one bug, so I didn't  
attach it to the ticket yet. It also needs to be fixed to take out  
the lint-like features I had in there (before we had a port lint  
feature). I'll fix it up and attach it soon. I won't get to it until  
the end of this week at the earliest, however.
