mysql error

Hi All,
 I installed mysql5 using ports using the following command

#port install mysql5 +server
#/opt/local/bin/mysql_install_db5

now when I try to start mysql I get the following error.

/opt/local/share/mysql5/mysql/mysql.server: line 159: kill: (75848) - No 
such process
ERROR!
