Problem buildings octave related packages

Hello,
I've been very little active lately, still I have this two bugs  
assigned about problem with octave-ann and octave-image that I'm not  
able to manage, actually I'm not that confident with compiling stuffs  
to help much about it, so if anyone has some spare time and willing to  
help check tickets no. 15428 and 15716.
