Terms? Re: New PortMgr team announced!

Hi James et al,
Are there any explicit "terms of service" (in both senses of the
phrase :-)?
I'd like to propose that the new team commit to serve from Oct 1st,
2008 (retroactively) to Oct 1st, 2009, with an option for them to
renew in one year blocks.
In particular, they need to indicate their desire to continue as
PortMgr by July 1st, 2009, so as to give plenty of notice in case they
need a replacement.
Is that reasonable?
