Installing MacPorts on a pure Darwin x86 64 bits system

Apologies for the snark earlier.  The last time I checked the  
puredarwin site, there weren't any downloads or other evidence of  
anything other than a name being registered.  Now that I look again,  
however, I see that they actually *did* release some bits last year,  
so I stand corrected!
