The situation should be resolved.
The relevant tickets are #12447 and #17071.
Reading through the the tickets, py25-pydb
seemed to have more support as a name, but
py25-db had a slightly improved Portfile.

So py25-pydb was deleted, and py-db was renamed to py25-pydb.
