gambit-c patch

Approximately 7 weeks ago, I submitted a patch for the gambit-c port  
that fixes a conflict with Ghostscript. The details of that patch are  
available at <http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21657>. I noticed that  
the version for gambit-c has been updated recently, but I have not  
heard anything about the patch, and it appears that no other changes  
have been made to the port. I'd like for the patch to be submitted, or  
least to have some discussion/feedback about the change.
