MacPorts 1.9.0-rc2 now available for testing

Source code and disk images for MacPorts 1.9.0-rc2 are now
available [1]. Testing of either of these install methods is helpful.
Please report any bugs that you find [2] (after first searching Trac
[3], of course!)

There are a large number of changes in this release. See the ChangeLog
[4] for a list of most of them. You may like to focus your testing on
the new features in that list, as well as your normal usage.

Changes since rc1 are:
 * Fixed possible incorrect version comparison by 'port outdated' when a
port's epoch has changed
 * Fixed a couple of possible issues with the new local portindex generation

See the beta1 announcement [5] for information about switching to the
new registry format.
