Tried upgrading some ports this morning that pulled in poppler and poppler-data. Poppler errored out because poppler-data doesn't have its supported archs set as i386/x86_64 and doesn't have a universal variant.
Error: Cannot install poppler for the arch(s) 'i386 x86_64' because its dependency poppler-data does not build for the required arch(s) by default and does not have a universal variant.
Error: Unable to exec port: architecture mismatch
This sounds like it might happen for other ports that have this combination as well.
Any ideas on how to remedy this situation when it comes up? Is it as simple as setting poppler-data to noarch?
