MacPorts 1.9.0 has been released

Well, when I upgrading from 1.8.2 to 1.9.0 I just want to avoid to have to reinstall all currently installed ports.
And from what I had read before I understood that the new macports would sort of forget about all currently installed ports.
Perhaps I am completely mistaken here...
