Notes, The Proper Way

It'll probably behoof us to have an exhaustive demonstration of documentation on notes. They are not in the guide.

I believe Ryan's patch [1] addresses the main functional aspects:
Ending a line with \ will simply cause the string to wrap, and all whitespace condensed.

We also should know that manual new lines also work, such as trying to list items for a user.

We also need to be mindful of escaping quotes (") .

Can we get something added to the Guide that demonstrates all three (and any others I'm forgetting)?
