ftp.logilab.fr versus pypi.python.org

Some companies block outgoing FTP so to download a package I need an 
HTTP site.

In r67270 I changed py-logilab-astng, py26-logilab-astng, and 
py25-logilab-astng to use 
http://pypi.python.org/packages/source/l/logilab-astng instead of 
ftp://ftp.logilab.fr/pub/astng.

Turns out the files are not identical to the ones at 
ftp://ftp.logilab.fr/pub/astng nor at http://ftp.logilab.org/pub/astng. 
  Any ideas why this would be?
