Hosting of distfiles on bitbucket okay?

Dear MacPorts devs,

we set up a bitbucket mercurial repository for one of the tools we want to include into MacPorts. (http://bitbucket.org/mkae/makeicns)

The attached Portfile created for this port would cause a download of the sources from bitbucket currently using the specific tag "1.2".

Are there any objections against hosting the code as well as the distfiles on bitbucket?

The MacPorts guide discourages use of mercurial, but bitbucket's infrastructure enables access to the dist files directly without the need to pull source code through mercurial itself.

Greets,
Marko
