Need someone to commit a patch

Hello,

I posted this bug report and patch
(http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23151) quite a while ago, and
revisiting it recently, I was surprised to learn that it is still
unresolved. I don't have commit access, but I've documented the
issues, and it should be apparent why the patch is what it is. Could
anyone do me the favor of committing the patch or maybe replying to me
with any questions? The port has no maintainer currently.
