I'm counting 4 or so. Most of which doesn't have any packages available!
That would be MacPorts (port), Fink (fink), Homebrew (brew) and my RPMS.
Of course everybody hates .rpm so I converted most of them to .pkg, but.

Especially considering that there are *no* ports for perl/python/ruby etc.
That's something of a drawback, however, if you actually want e.g. PyGTK.
You can get GTK+ through it, but only the X11 version and not any PyGTK ?
