Possibly you're also saying we should always list the revision, even when it's its default value of 0. I think it's nice when a portfile is as simple as possible, not listing any of the defaults (because they're defaults) and only listing things that differ from the defaults. 

How does base/Tcl handle the concept of defaults?

Is it done by simply seeing if the value is set in the Portfile? Does it then check if the value is different?
