Does qt4-mac implicitly request for +quartz variants of dependent ports?

On two installations I do have

	qt4-mac @4.7.4_1+debug+quartz (active)
	cairo @1.10.2_4+no_x11+quartz (active)
	gtk2 @2.24.7_0+no_x11+quartz (active)
	libglade2 @2.6.4_4+quartz (active)

and

	qt4-mac @4.7.4_1+quartz (active)

just because I did install the second one as a no_gtk variant.

Well, and indeed qt4-mac has quartz as its default variant, as I realized now in the port file.

It looks pretty messy in there. So much stuff concerning quartz and x11 variant checking is simply uncommented…

Anyway, at least I know now why I suddenly had quartz in more than just one port present.
