Currently configuration is entirely broken for the Berkeley DB
versions. The code in the Portfile
concerning this that Ryan mentioned can be entirely deleted as it is
doing no good.
I am working on patching the configure code to correctly recognize our
layout for these ports
and suggest that we implement specific variants for the versions that
are supported by both
MacPorts and GNOME. At present this is db47, db48, db51. I hope to
have this finished this
weekend. This is in libgda4 right now but should work for libgda5 as well.
I also suggest that we rename the other variants from +with_something to
just +something to
follow latest style recommendations.
