Fwd: Archive fetch problem

I asked the ever-helpful Bill to pull some numbers on the types of archives being requested:

> There are 11637954 hits for tbz2 and 1874377 hits for tgz. 

It seems we have quite a few users that are setup to use tgz archives.

Can we ensure the upgrade path fixes this, or do we need to provide both archive types?
