Good question, I didn't thought about checking other clisp tickets.

My original error was different from the one reported in #30338 but I
remember I had that very same issue once while I was trying to fix the
build, IIRC I built -> got the error -> skipped the test part ->
continued building without cleaning -> got the modules.c error .
After cleaning and applying the small patch I didn't get it.

I couldn't reproduce that so I can't say the commit will fix that ticket.
