As this was a regression introduced in 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 was released to 
fix this, I don't think we need to wait until we remove any workarounds.

It helps if you add a comment in the Portfile when such line was added 
as a workaround. Add a reference to a ticket or mailing list post.
