   Another less invasive approach would be to append...

-datarootdir=${prefix}/share/gcc4.4

-datarootdir=${prefix}/share/gcc4.5

-datarootdir=${prefix}/share/gcc4.6

which should eliminate the overlap between the various gcc4x packages.
