Finding about another port variants in a Portfile

Hi everybody,

I’m finishing a new Portfile for PostGIS 2.0. As I reported before, because of the way the Makefile of PostGIS is written, it is very cumbersome to build a non-universal variant of PostGIS when PostGreSQL was built universal. Therefore, I’d like to check whether PostGreSQL is universal or not, and disable the building of a non-universal PostGIS on a universal PostGreSQL.

How can this be done?
