Well, in the case of audiofile, it was that the portfile was replacing
the configure-generated libtool with the version from $prefix/bin. That
might have been necessary before, but it doesn't seem to be now. Fixed
in r90026.

There are a dozen or so other ports that do similar things and might
run into the same problem.
