Apparently when using this code there is no top-level port.

$ port info mysql55-connector-cpp
mysql55-connector-cpp @1.1.0 (databases)
Sub-ports:            mysql5-connector-cpp, mysql55-connector-cpp, mariadb-connector-cpp, percona-connector-cpp
...
