Inconsistent port upgrade behavior?

Found it.

-> port installed dbus
The following ports are currently installed:
  dbus @1.4.18_0+universal (active)
  dbus @1.4.20_1+startupitem+universal

So 1.4.20 has been compiled but not activated (why?). But still port upgrade outdated should switch between both, activating .20 and inactivating .18…
